We had a really great time at the Make End Festival. We had a chance to talk to a few of the Makers. It was really inspiring to see how a lot of them had a talent and they dedicated time and effort to it a couple of hrs a day. It really challenged me to see how much time was I spending in mastering my craft. Well Guys my message is if you are passionate about something, spend time mastering craft. It can be 30 mins a day up until you can spend more time doing what you love.
Life is really unpredictable. It’s so funny how we go on quests to find lasting happiness and spend our expensive jewels just to be fulfilled briefly when all along our deepest desires for inner peace is hidden in plain sight. Today we took our college homies to Amerson River Park and we had a prayer walk. Surprisingly I didn’t even hear once that this activity was boring. I kept hearing: “wow Macon is not bad after all!”. My mission was complete! That really made my day. The world is so saturated by so many things. Make every effort to get away. Relax go for a walk. Debrief! Visit a park! Sing; meditate on a scripture. You need it!
Well, I have never been much of a writer; except in moments of emotional distress when I scream my rhymes through poetry. But that’s a different story… more on that later I guess :-/! I have been challenging myself to be more outspoken and give my pictures a voice. That’s weird right? Pictures can talk! That’s totally cool dude! Anyway… My hubby and I got to do a little weekend gateway last week. It was much needed and appreciated. What A relief that was to explore another area and act like tourists. I think he got tired of hearing me say:” Man this is life! LoL!”
There is something soothing to gt away just for a moment and just reflect on life. But anyway enough said. TTYL
